Accident yesterday in Mont Blanc: The victim was a "fake" Polish mountain guide

The 35 year old man who died Sunday in the Couloir du Gouter on the Normal Route of the Mont Blanc, while we was coming down from the summit of Mont Blanc, was in fact a Polish guide whose qualifications do not permit to practice in France, it was told us by the PGHM of Chamonix. Of the four persons who were with him, one was another guide not recognized by the UIAGM (International Union of Mountain Guides Associations) and he was guiding another two clients. He will be presented before the Bonneville Court. Le Dauphiné
