So, this snow report might seem like its getting repetitive, but that reflects the conditions - yesterday we had another bluebird powder day with around 50 centimetres of fresh snow, depending on location.

The high pressure that we had for a week gave way to a strong airflow from the Atlantic, giving us snow at low altitudes, and lots of accumulation higher up. Friday was a storm day, with some great deep turns and lots of snow flying in faces and over heads. It was snowing all day, sometimes quite heavily. A lot of lifts were on storm closure, and they opened up when the sun came out on Saturday.

The visibility was perfect on Saturday, and there was lots of good quality skiing, both on and off the pistes, and with almost all the terrain in the valley open, there was plenty of space and lots to do.

Today was a bit of a mixed day, as the weather was playing games. The morning was cloudy with some light snowfall, and it cleared around lunch time with some really soft snowy slopes and maybe 10-20 more centimetres of snow. The base that we now have in all the resorts is more than adequate, with the exception of the ski-outs from Brevent and Flegere which tend to get a bit stony, with thin snow cover when there is lots of skier traffic. There is a really thick snowpack at 2000m, and even more higher up, and it has been cold in the valley, so all the beginner areas have plenty of base.

The next couple of days have some mixed weather in the forecast, with some clear spells and lots of cloud, with some more snowfall too.
