Haute Route: Try to beat the record Chamonix Zermatt

4 Mountaineering Skiers of the French Military Corps will try to beat the record of the Haute Route Chamonix Zermatt. They are four, like the Fantastic 4, and they climb up really really fast. Between the 10 and 13 April, while a normal person will be seated at home eating the Easter Chocolate Eggs, Tony Sbalby, Fabre, Fraissard & Gachet will try to beat the record of last year of 21.11h (made Stéphane Brosse/Lionel Bonnel). 150km distance in 21h. The distance between the two cities is about 150km & 8000m of positive. According with Gachet, the team will try to move at an average of 800m/h. Only two stops of 15min are scheduled during the all distance. All the rest, they have to take their own food and water. But they must be light, very light... shovel, probe, tranceiver and a very thin jacket. Nothing else. All the four members have more than 100.000m positif during this season. And when they leave at midnight from the Chamonix Church, their objectif is to reach the Zermatt Church at 21h... good luck!!!
