We can count around forty seasonal workers living in their truck. They are installed this year in Grepon parking, next to the Aiguille du Midi cable car, and are perhaps a little more visible than in other years. The mayor of Chamonix had to explain this situation last Monday in the city council. It's better to have these workers all together in the same place rather than letting them settle anywhere on the town. But next year, another place is being explored.
