During a Road Safety Committee meeting yesterday in Annecy, the Prefect of Haute Savoie informed parliamentarians, elected officials and the police department, that all radars warning signs were to be removed by the end of the year. At the moment in Haute Savoie, there are 21 such signs. At the same time, new "information only" radar speed displays will be located on dangerous sections not otherwise equipped with radar.
