Following the completion of the new town hall, the Les Houches village centre is still evolving. The idea is to create a real "village square" with buildings for both shops and services. What with a cultural hall of 200m2, utilities & parking, there are unfortunately only 6 places available for further commercial development, for which 11 companies have applied. The selection will take place tomorrow... Building permits then need to be submitted before the 15 September and work should then begin in April 2012. The plan is for the new centre of Les Houches to be ready by September 2013.
