Chamonix packed with tourists.

For the last two days, the town of Chamonix has had more visitors than at any time this summer. The good weather along with the arrival of the August holidays, are the reason for this "success". For example: yesterday at the Aiguille du Midi, there were over 5300 visitors. The last cable car came down from the top at 20.00hrs. Car traffic is also very intense. We advise you to park your car outside the town and take public transport to come into the centre of Chamonix. Have a great summer!
