First match and first defeat for Chamonix!
Chamonix starts this hockey season with a defeat at home. Tuesday evening, 12th September 2017, Chamonix was beaten by the Dragons of Rouen, score 1-3 (1-1, 0-1, 0-1).
According to Le Dauphine, despite the defeat, the Pioneers can come out with the head high from a clash (and this from the very first game of the season) wasted by an outdated arbitral trio, who refused their first goal which seemed valid, then (once the goal has been validated) endless discussions with the players...
Despite these events who changed the game, the players of Christophe Ville provided a good performance full of envy and commitment. Also, Henrik Andersen provided a very good performance at the forefront of the Chamonix offensive.
Upcoming match: the Pioneers will face the Scorpions of Mulhouse, Sunday 17th September 2017, at 6pm, at the Richard Bozon Ice Rink in Chamonix.
