The 2nd and 3rd February 2013 in Courchevel, it took place the French Ski Mountaineering National championships: Vertical Race and Sprint race. The ski mountaineering section of the Club des Sports de Chamonix returned from CourchevelIt with a bag full of medals.
Yann Gachet, the "coach" of the section, won the sprint and became the new Champion of France of the specialty. Also in the sprint, Nina Silitch won the women competition and Marion Maneglia ranks third.
In the other race of the weekend, the Vertical Race, Kilian Jornet from the Club de Sports Chamonix wins the men's competition, while Valentine Fabre finished third female.
