Well, its not looking too bad, especially in the warm sunshine. There is certainly some skiing to be done at Chamonix right now. The sun-soaked Brevent was a great place to be today.
The pistes were hard packed, but still pretty grippy, and some of the off-piste is spring snow when it is in the direct sunshine. There are even a couple of skiable steep chutes for the more adventurous skier/boarder with rock skis on.
The airbag is open for jumping at the Brevent, and the paragliding conditions are also fantastic at the moment.
