Born in Paris in the 1960's, Destivelle is best known for the following : 1991: Opening a route on the Western face of the Dru 1992: Solo winter climb of the North face of the Eiger (17 hours) 1993: Solo climb of the North face of the Grandes Jorasses 1994: North face of the Bonatti route of the Matterhorn Catherine is an ambassador to the French alps and is well known in France and abroad. In this film, viewers will feel like they are climbing up the mountain with Destivelle. The film shows three classic Chamonix routes with three different climbing partners.
