Servoz, Adventure Raid Sunday 13 Sept

In partnership with the organizers of Raid Courrier Sud, which takes place in Morocco from 31 October to 8 November 2009, the association Servoz Cap Juby offers for the first time this year, a prologue this Sunday, September 13. In teams of 2, participants will discover the "bike and run." One member will ride a mountain bike while his companion will have to run by his side. The goal of Raid Southern Mail is to invite competitors to enjoy a great sporting adventure in the heart of Morocco, while discovering the colourful landscapes and the many facets of this North African country, sometimes on trails treacherous. Nothing like a small trial on the steep paths of the Chamonix valley. A prologue of about 20 km To start the race, taking place between Servoz and Les Houches, the trail rider and the mountain bike rider must do a 2km ride solo. Then they must ride together a distance of 20km and a total ascent between 600 and 900 meters, within a time limit. The race will start the next day, Sunday, 9.30am in the center of Servoz. The event will be preceded on Saturday evening by a "pasta party", during which the organizers will do a presentation on the big race in Morocco. Registration is possible until Thursday, September 10. You can do it also on the race day, but for a 20% higher fee.
