The annual cleaning operation, initiated by the French Alpine Club (CAF), is scheduled this year for the October 1st 2010. The CAF is already counting with around 60 volunteers, thanks to Lafuma (partner of the event). Associations are also invited: WWF, the Servoz association, La Montagne or Mountain Riders. To help the volunteers and guide them, there will be a few mountain guides, and some of them are big names of the mountaineering, like Patrick Gabarrou and Christophe Dumarest. The glaciologist Luc Moreau will also attend the event. Last year, more than 2 tons of waste had been collected. Radio Mont Blanc
