For the 2nd consecutive year, the tourist office of Les Houches/Servoz will organize a series of events to celebrate the Orthodox New Year (the official date is Jan 13th). The festival is dedicated to the Russian visitors of the Chamonix valley but also to all those who are curious to discover the culture of this huge and fascinating country. Throughout the cinema, with the film “Urga”, de Nikita Michalkow, Lion d’Or de Venice in 1991. Then through the music, with the artist Vyacheslav Malejik, accompanied by the Chamonix group "Rock'n Roll Circus", the concert will take place on Thursday. Very popular in Russia, Vyacheslav Malejik released thirty albums. At the same time, a tasting of oysters will be prepared by the Chef Bernard Gonthier, amnd will be offered to the visitors.
