To accommodate the 15 health professionals and the medical laboratory, the Chamonix hospital requires a budget of 1,240 million euros. The city community will pay 830,000 euros of this work through a loan. The loan conditions for doctors will allow refunding this loan and this should not imply no cost to local authorities. The companies will be selected in the coming months. Work will begin in the fall for seven months. The opening of this medical center is expected by the end of the first semester 2012.
