Today, Wednesday, is the big day for the Annecy 2018 bid committee. Members will formally know if their bid to host the Winter Olympics in 2018 has been chosen. The International Olympic Committee will give its verdict this afternoon live from Durban in South Africa. They need to choose between three candidates cities: Annecy, Munich and Pyongchang in South Korea. At 17:00hrs in the Chamonix Hotel Majestic, it will be possible to hear a live broadcast of the ceremony, in the presence of all the people in the valley who have assisted in the bid.
