According to a press release of Thursday 11th January 2018, issued by Mont-Blanc Natural Resort:
The extreme, adverse weather conditions over the past few days have rendered obligatory a control visit of the 2nd cable-car between Lognan & Les Grands Montets. Therefore, the Top station of the Grands Montets (3300m) will be closed to public today Thursday 11th January 2018.
After the control visit, the CMB will give further information on a possible longer term closure & the provisional date for the re-opening.
