Four climbers trapped in bad weather on Mont Blanc: the PGHM is doing everything to save them.
On the evening of Saturday, September 7, the Chamonix High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon (PGHM) was alerted to the presence of three roped parties, lost, not far from the summit of Mont Blanc.
Two roped parties of Korean climbers and an Italian roped party trapped by the bad weather that suddenly set in on the roof of the Alps. Significant resources were immediately deployed and made it possible to rescue two Koreans at an altitude of 4,100 m, not far from the Col de la Brenva.
