With 16 thriving past editions, the UTMB® is one of the most expected sports competition worldwide, bringing together almost 10,000 athletes every year.
A huge part of its indisputable success is owed to an indispensable group of people who often do not get enough recognition for their hard work - the volunteers.
On Monday, the 15th of April, 2019, the registration to become a volunteer for the UTMB® 2019 will open.
Being a volunteer for the UTMB® is an exciting experience which will broaden one's horizons.
As a volunteer for the UTMB® 2019, one will have the opportunity to be part of an international event, to meet people from all over the world and initiate longtime friendships.
Two thousand volunteers are expected to meet in Chamonix during the last week of August and to participate in the organization of the largest event of trail running in the world.
There are many lines of work needed for this edition of the UTMB®, such as doctors, nurses, station managers, radio operators, race commissioners, transport, catering etc.
Volunteers are an essential part of the UTMB®, as they help runners fulfil their dreams of crossing the finish line.
How to become a volunteer?
On Monday, the 15th of April 2019, the organizing team will upload a registration form on utmbmontblanc.com.
The candidates will be asked to indicate their availability, their skills and their desired assignments.
The organization will contact all those who apply.
