Last weekend, on the 6th and 7th of April 2019, the Richard Bozon ice rink vibrated under more 450 young hockey enthusiasts.
The 17th edition of the already traditional tournament of Marmouzets brought together over 5,000 people in Chamonix last weekend.
On the 6th and 7th of April 2019, over 450 young ice hockey passionates competed in the traditional tournament of Marmouzets.
The children who competed over the weekend on the Richard Bozon ice rink were of categories U7 and U9.
U7 are players born in 2012, 2013 and 2014 while U9 are players born in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
The teams were mainly trained in France, but teams from Switzerland, Italy and Germany also participated in the tournament which became a tradition in the Chamonix valley.
The atmosphere was fiery, but jovial in Chamonix last weekend. Over 5,000 people - the families of the competitors and committed volunteers - actively participated in the 17th edition tournament of Marmouzets.
Two weeks full of emotions and celebration for almost every hockey passionate from Chamonix and not only which ended with the victory of the Mad Dogs Mannheim in the U9 category, while the Swiss Helvetians were the champions of the U7 category.
