The weekend of the 1st and 2nd of June 2019 has been very busy for the PGHM of Chamonix.
After five secure missions on Saturday, the PGHM made four interventions on Sunday.
According to Le Dauphine, the busy weekend the PGHM of Chamonix had was a predictable consequence of the bad weather conditions.
Firstly, the PGHM went to help a hiker on the Mieussy side who had slipped on firn.
The hiker injured his back and was evacuated to the Alpes Léman via Choucas 74 hospital.
Secondly, the PGHM of Chamonix evacuated, with the help of civil security, a man blocked above Vallorcine.
Then, they proceeded by helping a man who hurt his knee on the Mer de Glace in Chamonix.
Lastly, around 5 pm a new intervention was carried in Ain.
