La Chamoniarde, Chamonix's mountain rescue and prevention company, organizes mountain safety courses in the field.
A non-profitable mountain rescue organization, the Chamoniarde has been playing an essential role in keeping both residents and tourists of the Chamonix valley safe for over 70 years.
This summer, the Chamoniarde is proposing a two days glacier safety course, which involves spending the night in a shelter and will allow participants to check and consolidate their mountaineering skills, more specifically focusing on glacier travelling and safety, and basic rope techniques.
