After four years of absence, Kandahar, the Men's Alpine Skiing World Cup, returns to Chamonix in 2020.
Less than a month until the big event, the preparation for the famous Verte des Houches is on schedule.
Book the weekend of 8&9 February 2020 for an already legendary competition: the Kandahar!
The best male skiers in the world will be arriving in Chamonix to compete in the 20th edition of Kandahar.
The Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley hosts two Men World Cup events on "La Verte des Houches": a Slalom and a Parallel Giant.
According to Radio Mont-Blanc, the site preparation is on schedule.
The work on the slopes ended by Christmas 2019 and now the snow is being produced abundantly.
A fantastic show not to be missed from anywhere on the course. Pedestrian access along the slope and the finish line is free.
However, this year each spectator must have a "free" ticket to access the public areas - no access will be authorized without a ticket, even though the ticket is free of charge.
You can download your free ticket here.
