Great news for people who love games!
Casino Le Royal Chamonix - the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc casino - reopened on 3 June 2020, at 10 am.
Casino Le Royal Chamonix resumed service
The Saint-Gervais and Megève casinos reopened on 2 June 2020.
The Chamonix casino followed, resuming its activity a day later, on 3 June 2020.
"The slot machines and the electronic games are open, but the gaming tables are closed," explains the director of the Chamoniard establishment, Jean-Philippe Gal.
No date has been announced for the resumption of table games in France.
Strict rules are in place
Be aware that there is a strict protocol to follow in terms of welcoming players again.
Firstly, the application of physical distance required a reorganization of the rooms. In Casino Le Royal Chamonix, almost one machine in two is closed, meaning that out of 61, only 32 machines are in operation.
It was also necessary to review the management of flows within the establishments. In Chamonix, a gyratory direction has been set up and the entrances and exits are separate.
Above all, the cleaning protocols have been drastically tightened. "The slot machines are cleaned between each customer and if someone has a doubt, they can ask to have their machine cleaned," said the manager of the Chamonix Casino.
