According with the latest announcementsof the French government, we are pleased to confirm the reopening of the Aiguille du Midi cable car from Wednesday May 19th (with a first departure at 8:10am).
The health security protocol put in place last summer will be repeated identically to ensure the best visiting conditions.
To take account of safety guidelines, the capacity of the cable car will be reduced by 50% during the month of May 2021.
The other facilities of the Compagnie du Mont Blanc in Chamonix will open according to the dates recently announced:
- Aiguille du Midi: 19/05/2021 (Panoramic Mont-Blanc: 02/06/2021 planned)
- Montenvers - Mer de Glace: 29/05/2021 (Ice Cave early June)
- Mont-Blanc tramway: 12/06/2021
- Flégère: 12/06/2021
- Brevent: 12/06/2021
- Balme: 12/06/2021, (TC Vallorcine: 26/06/2021)
- Les Houches TC Prarion 05/06/2021 (les weekends 5-6 & 12-13/06/2021 and continuously from19/06/2021)
- Les Houches TPH Bellevue: 12/06/2021
- Grands Montets: 03/07/2021 (open at weekends and on public holidays only)
- TS Bossons: 12/06/2021
