Update: the Montenvers site is open from 12:30 today Friday 10 June (1:00 pm for the Ice Cave and its gondola).
The Glaciorium is open as well as the Bar des Glaciers, the Restaurant du Montenvers and the refuge du Montenvers. The last return from the top is at 5:00 pm.

According to a press release of Thursday 9 June 2022 issued by Mont-Blanc Natural Resort, the Compagnie du Mont Blanc announces the closure of the Montenvers Train on Friday morning 10 June 2022.
The renovation works for the Montenvers site has begun its preparation period for the construction of the new Mer de Glace gondola lift.
In view of the weather conditions of the day, we inform you that the helicopter airlifts originally scheduled for this day cannot take place.
Therefore, these operations are postponed until tomorrow, Friday 10 June 2022.
The Montenvers site will therefore be closed tomorrow morning.
The Mont-Blanc Company will only provide trains from Chamonix for mountaineers and hikers at 8:30 a.m. and 9 p.m.
