Friday 27 January 2023 was not an easy day for the rescuers of the Chamonix High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon (PGHM).
Six rescue operations for the Chamonix PGHM
The day began at the Grands Montets resort in Chamonix with the intervention of the gendarmes for a person affected by a deep wound in the thigh.
The day continued in the Vallée Blanche with a rescue intervention concerning a knee injury.
At the resort of La Clusaz, the PGHM gendarms came to the aid of two skiers involved in a collision on the slopes.
Also a person suffered a cardiac arrest at Le Tour, in the Balme area. She was resuscitated and then transported to Annecy hospital.
Another intervention of the PGHM, concerned a malaise in the Grands Montets, the person was transported to the hospital center of Sallanches.
The day ended with a cardiac arrest at the Saint-Gervais resort, at Bettex. The victim was resuscitated and airlifted to Annecy hospital.
