Happy New Year from Chamonix.net!
We have some increasing cloud today, with some light snow showers predicted tonight, but not much in the way of snowfall. There have been a lot of people skiing Chamonix's limited terrain in the last 2 weeks, so the snow is generally really hard, but we are still skiing, and there are lots of other activities to do besides adventure skiing: we have great nordic ski conditions in the Chamonix valley, and there is rock climbing, hiking, zip wire and paragliding to do while it stays dry. Don't forget a day trip skiing in Courmayeur on the Italian side, and sightseeing at the Aiguille du Midi and Montenvers.
