Sign yourself up on the Compagnie du Mont Blanc website for either the 8th or 9th of January. In 3 workshops of 20 minutes each, you'll learn about the various avalanche victim detector devices available and participate in practical demonstrations of RECCO and ARVA. Then a mountain guide will take you around the Grands Montets for an hour to explain more thoroughly. (The workshops will be conducted in French)
