The famous ski downhill slope of Kandahar, the downhill track of World cup, La Verte in Les Houches, will host and became this Tuesday a high place of the amateurs of ski alpinism and ski touring. This Tuesday, they will be a few hundreds, to go up the 870m of this black run. But starting at 15h, before the real competition, the Les Houches Tourism Office organizes in the arrival area (by the Bellevue cablecar) one afternoon of initiation to winter sports: the ski-joëring, biathlon, etc… And many more animations. At 19h, the departure of the competition will be given. The trained runners will go up in less than 45 minutes (the better trained). With two key passages, La Cassure and Le Goulet, equipped with ropes and where you must remove your skis. And after the ski down, in relaxation and frontal, a tartiflette awaits for you. This race belongs to Mountain Ski Tour, which is held in several ski resorts of Haute-Savoie, a circuit organized in partnership with the Military Academy of High Mountain.
