Chamonix: Barman beaten up
Two persons, one that lives in Chamonix and another that was here visiting his brother, were arrested by the Gendarmerie of Chamonix. In the evening from Saturday to Sunday they beat up a barman from a south of Chamonix bar, around 1.50h. The victim was seriously injured.
Chamonix: A Slovakian citizen disappears... and reappears
Since Saturday, a 68 years old Slovakian citizen (diabetic) disappeared without any trace. It was the group of tourist which he was with, that alerted the Gendarmerie. Jan Kurhajec, should have gone with his group on Saturday morning to visit the Aiguille du Midi, but he never got there. Because of his diabetes, this was even more serious. Yesterday, the Gendarmerie was informed that he had returned home (Slovakia) alone and without telling anyone.
Les Houches: Fight in a bar
A scuffle broke out Sunday evening in a bar in Les Houches. Nobody knows if the outcome of elections is the cause. But the manager was injured. The assailants are at large.
