The Secretary of State for Ecology, Chantal Jouanno was in Chamonix on Monday to open the French conference on biodiversity. Talking to the 400 participants at the conference she said: "You will define plans for these three days, but they will be changing in the future. This strategy will be published in June 2011, so you have the time to work. " She aspires to create an "Agency of nature" that would not be the merger of existing organizations, but a sort of holding that will recover the knowledge of each other. As for the future of the Mont-Blanc, Chantal Jouanno said that she's well aware of the problem with all its paradoxes.
