Sunday, June 13 at 15.45 a rockfall occurred on the line of the Montenvers train. The Montenvers/Mer de Glace was closed since that morning. These rock falls have caused some damage, but no casualties were reported. There are still some unstable rocks that must be purged. This work completed, the level of security will be back again to normal. The works are underway and will be held over several days, depending on the weather conditions.
