The animal was shot by hunters in the morning somewhere between Floria and Flégère, but he was injured and he managed to escape. With a dog, the wild boar was tracked down towards the Brévent area. Then, around 16h, the animal was seen close to the Mollard, very close to the center of Chamonix. Alerted, the Gendarmerie was called and have killed the wounded animal. Radio Mont Blanc
