Three German mountaineers rescued in the north face of Grandes Jorasses

The mountain gendarmes from Chamonix rescued yesterday, at 1.25pm, three German climbers stranded in the North Face of the Grandes Jorasses. They were 100 meters from the summit of Walker when the accident occurred. A falling rocks hit one of them in the head. The climber victim of head trauma with loss of consciousness was transported by helicopter to the emergency of Sallanches. The other two are safe.
