Today is pretty cloudy around Chamonix, with some light snow flurries, but there are some fleeting clear spells in the mountains, and the trend is for clearing this evening and tomorrow. There hasn't been much in the way of fresh snow since last week - just a centimetre or so, but its good spring skiing out there.
I went to La Flegere this morning, a good chance to ski some groomed pistes while there were not many people around. I got lucky with a patch of good light up on the Index and Floria lifts, and the snow was great, not very icy, and nicely groomed.
The snowpack is still consistent and deep up there, and the usual places which start to get patchy at the end of March are well covered in snow.
