After several sunny days, the snowstorms are back in Chamonix. Yesterday the front came in steadily through the day, and by the afternoon it was raining in town, which turned to snow in the evening.
Today was one of those storm days when the treeskiing is great, as you can see better, and it was all soft from the new snow. About 25 centimetres of low density fluffy snow was at 2000m this morning, and it was snowing steadily almost all day up there. It did clear a little bit in the afternoon - not completely, but I got a nice shot of the shining white mountains through the clouds.
