The light was very moody today, in the Chamonix mountains, with the foehn wind blowing and the clouds gathering around the peaks. The mountains were glowing against the stormy sky, and with all the recent snow, it was a beautiful sight.
At Brevent, the snow was a bit chalky, due to mild temperatures, but really good on the pistes, and we even found some steep free-riding terrain which was untouched on the hotel face, with wind-packed deep supportive snow - great for steep turns.
