We have had 3 and a half very nice sunny days here in Chamonix this week, with a bit of fresh snow overnight on Saturday night. The sun has made great skiing conditions on spring-like snow on the South facing slopes, and cooler temperatures has kept the snow dry on shady slopes. There was also some good powder on the weekend, with the sun lighting it up beautifully.
Sunday was a good opportunity to get out the skins and snowshoes and skin over to the Italian side of the Vallée Blanche to ski a bowl of cold frosty flakes.
