We have snow, and sunshine, and open ski lifts, and it is December 10th. It's not a bad start to the winter season in Chamonix. For the moment, we have lift accessed skiing at Grands Montets and Flegere. The other ski areas around Chamonix have had to push back opening terrain until December 17th, due to the sunshine, but the snow is great where the lifts are open.
