Chamonix finally has a coach for the 2017/2018 season of the Saxoprint Ligue Magnus!
Wednesday 16th August 2017, the managers of the CHC chose a foreign coach for the Pioneers: the 58-year-old Czech technician, Jan Tlacil.

After looking at many candidate profiles, the Chamonix Hockey Club chose Jan Tlacil for his experience with young hockey players in both the Czech Republic and Switzerland where he also worked as coach.
Indeed, the Czech technician speaks very well French, he trained the juniors of Bern, and then Ambri-Piotta where he finally took the lead of the senior team in LNA (2007/2008), the highest level of the Hockey.
According to Le Dauphine, Friday evening 18th August 2017, the coach will be on the bench for the friendly match with Grenoble.
Jan Tlacil will begin his twentieth season as a coach and will bring all his training and high-level experience to the young Pioneers.
