April is a month full of good music in the Chamonix Valley.
After the amazing Chamonix Unlimited Festival which is the perfect combination of nature, ski and electronic music and takes place from 2nd to 7th of April, there is another great music festival in April to look up to - Musilac Mont-Blanc.
The second edition of Musilac Mont-Blanc will take place from 26th to 28th of April and it will bing together people from all over the world who share a love for good music and the mighty Mont-Blanc.
Musilac Mont-Blanc
In the summer of 2017, the Musilac festival, which takes place on the shores of Lake Bourget Aix-les-Bains, celebrated its 15th edition!
With this special occasion, the founders of the festival announced a new special event meant to take music to a whole new level - precisely, in a legendary vacation destination: Chamonix Mont-Blanc.
Therefore, the first edition of Musilac Mont-Blanc took place in 2018 and it was a total blast!
The second edition of Musilac Mont-Blanc will take place from the 26th to the 28th of April 2019 and it presents great artists performing in the breathtaking scenery!
The artists
On the 26th of April, the famous Aya Nakamura will be playing her catchy and popular songs, including the music video that now has over 350 million views on Youtube, "Djadja".
She is joined by the Irish Two Door Cinema Club, Eagle Eye Cherry, pop band Editors, the French band The Blaze, the indie-rock band The Kooks coming from England and the Foxy Ladies.
On the second day of the Musilac festival, the Mexican classical guitar duo - Rodrigo y Gabriela - will be on the stage in Chamonix, together with French Eddy de Pretto and English Charlie Winston. Dame Civile, Les Négresses Vertes and Jeanette Berger will also play during this day.
Finally, on Sunday, the 28th of April, the Musilac Mont-Blanc festival will present the Belgian rapper, Roméo Elvis, the French famous singers HF Thiéfaine and Zazie. They will be joined in by the Fills Monkey, Gaëtan Roussel, the Boulevard des Airs, and Nadejda.

Musilac Mont-Blanc offers a special platform and parking for people with reduced mobility.
Pregnant women can use the reduced mobility area, but people with reduced mobility will have priority.

Although there are no age restrictions, Musilac Mont-Blanc does not recommend that you bring children younger than 5 at the festival, as there are no children-friendly areas, such as playgrounds.
