The Compagnie du Mont-Blanc has announced that today, the 25th of March 2019, the Aiguille du Midi cable car will close earlier.
The reason for the exceptional closure of the Aiguille du Midi cable car is a maintenance operation.
The closing schedule for the Aiguille du Midi cable car for today, the 25th of March 2019:
- Last departure round trip for the Aiguille du Midi from Chamonix at 12 noon;
- Last one-way trip from Chamonix at 1 pm;
- Last return from the Aiguille du Midi to Chamonix at 1.30 pm.
According to Le Dauphine, the Aiguille du Midi cable car will resume its normal schedule on Tuesday morning, March 26.
