On Sunday, the 16th of June 2019, a 27-years old mountaineer had the scare of his life when he slipped and fell several hundred meters.
The man was on the Bionnassay Glacier when he fell.
Fortunately, the young man was only slightly injured.
Despite having fallen several hundred meters, the 27-years old man was fortunate enough to survive and get only slightly injured.
The PGHM of Chamonix, accompanied by a medical team, recovered the young man by the civil security helicopter.
The mountaineer was secured and transported to the Sallanches hospital.
