Cancelled in 2020 because of the health crisis linked to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc, which starts in Chamonix, is scheduled on 23-29 August 2021.
This Thursday, 7 January 2021, marks the opening of registrations which will take place in three phases this year.
From 7 to 17 January, trailers who already had their registration in their pocket in 2020 have priority.
A second phase will take place between 21 to 28 January for runners who had been refused in 2019 and in 2020.
Finally, the last window will open between 4 to 11 February for athletes not eligible for the first two phases and under reserve of places still available.
The latest UTMB winner is Spain’s Pau Capell in 2019.
