Yesterday Wednesday 3 November 2021, the first snowflakes of the season fell in the streets of downtown Chamonix Mont-Blanc.
A first step towards winter
According to the Dauphiné, even if the snow really holds only above 1200 meters of altitude, the mountaineering capital is gradually turning white.
Météo France has forecast 10 to 15 centimeters of snow at 1500 meters, at the altitude of the Col des Montets.
