Thursday 3 February 2022, the rescuers of the High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon (PGHM) carried out four rescue operations using the civil security helicopter.
According to Le Dauphiné, the day of Thursday began with the first intervention on the Argentière glacier where two people on ski touring got stuck on the moraine, on the left bank of the glacier.
The gendarmerie helicopter then took the direction of Grands Montets, at Pas de Chèvre, to take care of a skier with knee injury.
The day continued around 1:00 p.m. with the recovery of a skier with ankle injury in the Combe d'Armancette (Contamines-Montjoie).
Finally the high mountain gendarmerie platoon ended its day in Les Houches, on the ski area, to rescue a 57-year-old man in the boardercross. Slightly injured, he was taken to Sallanches hospital.
