World Freeride Tour back to Chamonix this winter After the B Freeride World Tour competition last year, Chamonix will welcom one of the four stages of the Freeride World Tour, together with Sochi (Russia), Squaw Valley (USA) and Verbier (Switzerland). Aurélien Ducroz, original from Chamonix and actual World Champion will defend his crown at home on the 2nd stage, January 30th, 2010. Trail des Aiguilles Rouges this weekend in Chamonix This weekend will be held in the Massif des Aiguilles Rouges (Chamonix), the 3rd edition of this superb event. More than 700 athletes have already registered. The departure will take place Sunday morning, 5.00h at Vallorcine. In the following the athletes will go to Barberine, return to Vallorcine, The Buet, Refuge Berard, Col Salenton, Ref. Moede Anterne, Pont Arleve, Brevent, Aig. Les Houches, Servoz and the arrival takes place in Les Houches in Lake the Chavants, the first runner will arrive around 11am. Come and support the athletes!
