On 23 January a competitor of the Derby of Posettes, race that took place in the ski resort of Le Tour/Balme, had died by hitting a tree beside the track. The parents of the victim filed a complaint against the organization of the race, the Ski Club of Vallorcine. An investigation has been entrusted to the Gendarmerie de Haute-Savoie. Le Dauphiné
