This is the new attraction for Chamonix summer tourism, the mountain biking. In summer, the Capital of mountaineering has decided to give importance and promote this sport. The Chamonix Valley already has the Cross country, but Chamonix and the Compagnie du Mont Blanc bets a lot on the downhill bike. There was already Vallorcine and Les Houches, but many another sites are being specifically built for this practice: - Flégère with 3 downhill slopes. For Le Tour/Balme, we will have to wait a year.
